Auntie Fee passes at 59

Auntie Fee

Felicia “Auntie Fee” O’Dell, has passed away at the young age of 59. The viral video sensation has died almost a week after suffering a massive heart attack.

Although a public statement has not yet been declared on her fan page, Fee’s son Tavis posted the news late on Friday night (3/17/17).

Auntie Fee was rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday (3/14/17) after feeling ill with chest pains. She suffered a massive heart attack at the hospital and had been on life support since. Prior to that, she had stated that she had not been feeling well.

Auntie Fee went viral in 2014 after posting her recipes for “good ass chicken” and “Sweet Treats for the kids.”

She went on to appear in the movie “Barbershop 3” and made several appearances on The Steve Harvey Show. She captured the hearts of many online and especially those she came in contact with including Snoop Dogg and fellow viral video sensation Daym Drops who expressed his reaction to hearing the news of her taken ill.

From the moment we heard of her being in the hospital, no one slept comfortably.  We’ve never met, but she was family!  This death feels personal.  It truly feels like an Aunt we should have visited or called more often has passed away, leaving us all melancholy and despondent. She will truly be missed.
